The Copeland ZH series is designed specifically for water-heated heat pump systems, replacing standard air conditioning compressors. The ZH18KVE model is classified as an HBP (High Back Pressure) unit. It is designed to achieve high condensing temperatures (up to 65°C) for radiator heating or domestic hot water. The specification code 426 indicates that the compressor is factory-prepared for parallel connection in tandem. This provides flexible power distribution in larger installations. Vapor Injection (EVI): The wet injection system improves the seasonal efficiency (SCOP) and extends the operating range in very cold climates. Tandem Ready (Code 426): The design allows direct connection to a second compressor for joint operation in a common refrigeration circuit. Copeland Scroll™ Technology: The axial and radial fit of the scrolls ensures excellent resistance against liquid freon ingress. Low vibration and noise: The balanced compression mechanism maintains quiet operation and minimizes structural noise. Refrigerant: R407C. Volumetric capacity (flow rate): 17.1 m3/h.
